End Date Charge Adjustments

Mark - Discover Support
At Discover, we have received a request for:
'The ability to end date specific charge adjustments so that they no longer show in the active charge adjustment list from a particular date forward. This will reduce the list shown to only active and required charge adjustments.'
We'd like to open this up for your valuable insight. Please leave your comments and upvote if this would be an important feature for you.
Top feature requests (based upon number of votes) will be reviewed by the Discover Team each quarter as we aim to prioritise your requests into our annual roadmap.

Adding this feature, as well as the ability to create a 'start from' field for the new charge adjustment to take effect, would be such a time saver. We have increased one of our charges, and I now have to manually go into each child's enrolment, remove the old charge and add the new one.

Hi Team! Can they also be removed as an option when adding as an adjustment on the enrolment page? Otherwise we’re going to end up with a massive list of adjustment options that we don’t use any more. It’s already a bit messy to read – see below. Thank you.

Hello Team,
Currently we are unable to change the charge adjustment codes without creating new codes. This is not very efficient and very time consuming as it would mean creating new codes every time you change a price. To then make it work you would need to amend each current and future enrollment in the system by selecting the new charge codes. This is a very time consuming task when you simply only wish to amend a price. e.g increase of Uniform or Fruit morning tea costs. We have currently changed our fee structure and also wished to increase the extra add on charges. However it is not possible without creating new codes for the same add on's with a price change. When I called last week we did not hear back after ringing again today and talking to Sharon she asked me to forward you this information. Please fill free to get in touch if you wish to clarify or need further details. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Also, while adding the ability to end date Charge Adjustments, create a 'Date From' field so when there is a rate increase this can easily be added to the Charge Adjustments and the new rate just takes effect from the effective date set - the same as Fees do, same structure but just an amount increase; system rolls over to the new rate as of the 'Date From'
Fee rate increase steps:
- From the Date From field set the new effective date.
- Move to the Fee Amount and set the new rate.
- Save changes.
