It would be great to have functionality attached to families on the "Enquiries" list such that they are sent an email regularly asking them to confirm if they wish to stay on the list, and/or update any details.

I’m aware of this functionality when children have been moved to the “Waitlist”. However I’m looking for this functionality for children on the “Enquiries” list.

The way your “Waitlist” works is that children are shown as if they have a “preliminary enrolment”. In other words the Waitlist view is the same as the Enrolled view.

When you have 100 odd children “waiting” for a place this view is not very helpful. When a place comes available at short notice (due to a child leaving) we need to be able to sort through all the children by age, desired start date, number of days required etc. This is exactly the functionality on the Enquiries view - which is great - but it means we do NOT move any children through to “Waitlist” until they have a confirmed space.

There is a Report that can be generated from the Waitlist however it is not a good substitute as you cannot sort the report once generated. So it’s very clunky.

For this reason it would be much more useful for families on the Enquiries list to receive the “please confirm you still need a place” email not {just} the families on the Waitlist.

In fact what happens for us is the families often receive the “please confirm” email AFTER they have a confirmed place!! Which is rather confusing for them and embarrassing for us.

So the functionality you have is good but just not quite working in the best way hence my question as to whether there was a way to either :

Apply the “Waitlist - please confirm you still need a place” email functionality to the ENQUIRIES list, or

Allow a view of children on the Waitlist the same as the Enquiries list, but without having to generate a static Report?
