Feature Requests

Currently an image can't be 'moved' within an image placeholder. The placeholders are square and photos are generally rectangle. Thus the image that we want shown in the document can't be properly shown due to the shape of the placeholder. If you changed the shape of your placeholder to a photo shape this could resolve the main problem. But it would be even better if you could allow a photo to be moved and resized within the placeholder.

When printing on playground, photos are cropped so it doesn't print the whole photo, also if you use the collage setting it prints the text "please insert photo" It would be great if portrait photos weren't automatically cropped and the text didn't appear when printing.

Ability to send documents to another staff member to review before they go out to parents for proof reading etc.

Would like to add in records after a child has been signed out. For example; A parent collects early just before centre manages to record nappy change, and signs child out. This child then no longer appears to be able to add record in.

We use google photos to save our centre photos. This means that when writing learning stories and Individual/Group development plans our teachers have to download the photos onto the computer hard drive first before they can upload them to Playground. This is a frustrating, time consuming and 'megabyte consuming' process. We would really like it if Playground could recognise photos saved in google photos.

Increase the video time limit. Currently, only short videos up to 30 seconds are supported. If possible, allow videos up to 60 seconds, even if that means reducing the number of photos permitted to make room for longer videos.

When sharing stories and learning with our parents we have to download each photo onto our computer before we can link it into playground. Then we have to delete them again from the hard drive so it doesn't get filled up with photos. It seems that Playground doesn't work directly with google photos. It would be great to have an easier way to share photos in Playground when we store photos in the Google Photo app.

We are finding it extremely difficult to be able to message parents or post observations and photos of children who are not enrolled in on the same day that we are posting. We want to request a functionality on the app that allows us to message, post etc about all children on any given day

Please may we receive notifications when someone does a reflection on a post?

At Discover we have received the request to consider the option to be able to merge cells as this will give services a larger scope of display
