Feature Requests

We already use playground to record all health events and now we would like to have a facility that we could use to put up a short note about a child's day at preschool. This is to save us doubling up and having to use notebooks to let parents know about how their babies day has been and to note any additional info we need to pass on. Parents could also put notes into it to advise us about babies nights and health at home.

We have recently dicovered that for the Learning Analysis section of playground, only learning outcomes tagged in observations are being counted. We have written many of our learning stories using the learning story template under documents, therefore our data under the learning analysis tab is incomplete. It would be great to have the learning analysis count all learning outcomes tagged against particular children regardless of where these are tagged (Documents, Observations, Moments, Canvas etc.)

Separate out the permissions in Discover that will allow contacts to be able to access separate parts of the Home app, specifically Playground Learning and Health events. At the moment, contacts need to be marked as 'Primary Caregiver' to view the Care tab. Services want to give the option to other contacts who aren't primary caregivers to view Learning and Health events separately. For example, a family may want a grandparent to view Learning stories only, or a family friend who is a doctor to view Health events, with giving the contact full Primary Caregiver access. To do this, separate permissions need to be added to Contact profiles which can switch on specific parts of the Care tab as required. If a contact is marked as Primary Caregiver, the Learning and Health permissions are automatically ticked. If a contact has Learning ticked, they can only see the Learning content in the Care tab and not Health events, or other aspects that a Primary Caregiver can see. If a contact has Health ticked, they can only see the Health data in the Care tab and not Learning content, or other aspects that a Primary Caregiver can see. This feature is currently available on Educa but also presents options for services and families to have more access control.

Would like to add in records after a child has been signed out. For example; A parent collects early just before centre manages to record nappy change, and signs child out. This child then no longer appears to be able to add record in.

Have the ability to delete any health records that have been entered against a child in Playground. This is helpful when doing bulk Kai records and could have included a child incorrectly. Wanting to be able to delete so new correct record can be added rather than only able to add additional record.

Certain regions of NZ need to run additional drills and at risk of additional emergencies. Could we please add: Earthquake Tsunami Earthquakes are recommended by the MoE 2016a

Can the limit for the number of photos and the length of videos be extended? Thank you

At Discover we have received the request to consider the option to be able to merge cells as this will give services a larger scope of display

Ability to send documents to another staff member to review before they go out to parents for proof reading etc.

Ability for certain documents to be private to certain people, i.e., teacher development plans, appraisals, manager meetings etc.
